As a well-loved brand with a legacy spanning decades, Smarties creates and shares content with an uplifting, youthful feel. I worked with Blood Orange Agency to strategize Instagram content, campaigns, and write copy.

For 2021’s biggest day for candy—Halloween—Smarties embraced a 90’s-inspired aesthetic on Instagram to tap into nostalgia for everyone’s favorite decade and continue growing their fan base with the next generation. We partnered with creators and sent candy along with fun gifts reminiscent of the 90’s such as branded fanny packs, bucket hats, and more. We also storyboarded and filmed Reels utilizing trending audio and Halloween-related themes to ramp up engagement for the month of October.
